The health care industry is moving towards an interoperable system, one that will have the ability to exchange and make use of information across organizations.  The promises of a more integrated system are immense and progress towards interoperability has been made by both the public and private sectors. However, questions still exist. How can we advance toward an interoperable system? What is preventing interoperability at scale? And, most importantly, how will interoperability benefit the consumer?

Cambia Grove is exploring these questions during a two-day Interoperability Summit in Seattle, Washington. The Summit brings together innovators and health care leaders from across the country to learn how to overcome current barriers to transforming the system to become interoperable for consumers. This must attend event will use a three-pronged approach to understand the path towards interoperability:

1. The digitization of health data
2. Making the digitized health data interoperable in a way that empowers consumers
3. The consumer use case for digitized and interoperable health data

Why you should attend:

As we learned through our Solution Series at Cambia Grove, lack of access to data serves as a barrier to innovation in health care. During Under the Boughs with Dr. Rucker from the ONC, he emphasized the importance of an interoperable system in enabling the flow of data across systems, allowing consumers access to their own information, increasing transparency and patient accessibility. 

Interoperability of data is one of the major industry trends that will impact nearly every aspect of healthcare. Our expert panel and breakout sessions will illuminate the challenges and opportunities ahead.

Day One

The first day of the Interoperability Summit explores the initiative to digitize health data, how it was implemented and the next steps toward an interoperable system We will also learn about what is possible with interoperability and how to innovate for the consumer.

Day Two
June 21 - 8:30 AM - 12:15 PM 

The second day of the Interoperability Summit will build upon the previous day’s discussions around advancing interoperability. Guest will experience engaging roundtable discussions to participate in the initiatives moving the needle toward a consumer-centric health care system.
