President’s Message

Thank you so much for visiting our website! This means you are interested in the Employee Benefits Planning Association (EBPA) or are already a valued member of ours.

The past few years have taught me MANY things, number one of which change is constant and that teamwork truly makes the dream work. I consider myself lucky to be leading our EBPA team of industry bests in our quest to bring our members knowledge about the shifting currents and trends that are ever present. For the past 30+ years, the EBPA has provided a place to learn and network, but also a place to build a community team that can help you tackle the challenges we all end up facing; or at least companionship in the process!

I served on the board for a few years before finding myself in this presidential role. More than anything, my goal is promote the community we have built, so that we all feel fulfilled and supported. I thoroughly enjoy learning from our events and embedding myself into our local conglomerate of team members, even when they’re across the “aisle” from me! Seeing the “competition” drop their guards, connect, learn and socialize is my favorite part.

The EBPA board is working hard to make sure our content and settings meet the needs and wants of our members.  We’ve partnered with other associations (Western Pension & Benefit Council and Washington Association of Health Underwriters) to ensure our content continues to be compelling and relevant. We aim to have an exact pulse on our industry and provide content that is worthy of an hour or two away from our email inboxes and cell phones. 

I am looking forward to the years ahead and aim to ensure we are bringing forth content that resonates and responds to the ever-changing dynamics of our industry.
