Digital health solutions, such as virtual consultations, remote patient monitoring devices and mobile health apps, have enhanced and facilitated simple and convenient care for individuals with chronic diseases. These technologies have improved the way we monitor vital signs, symptoms, medication adherence and many other variables to promote early detection of potential complications and timely interventions.
Similarly, digital health solutions have shown the exciting potential in improving care coordination and enhancing collaboration between healthcare professionals which advance more integrated and patient-centered care models.
Although many challenges still exist with this growing technology, digital health solutions for chronic disease management create opportunities to improve outcomes, enhance patient experiences, and drive innovation in healthcare delivery.
This presentation will discuss and address some of the many hot topics in the industry today and provide additional information and best practices on what consultants and health plan benefits leaders should consider as part of their digital health strategy.
