Join the Employee Benefits Planning Association (EBPA) as we dive into the gray world of Pharmacy cost, transparency and new disruptive models in the employee benefits space.  You’ll hear multiple perspectives and stakeholder points of view during our educational event. Whether you’re an employer, health insurance broker or carrier this will be an insightful conversation for us all!

 Featured Speakers:

Mark Lyons, Principal,

Amazon Pharmacy

Mark received his pharmacy degree from the University of Washington and worked in a hospital setting for a few years before transitioning to a Pharmacy Benefit Manager. After a short stint with the PBM, Mark decided he wanted to work on the payer side.

He has managed pharmacy benefits in various capacities for more than 25 years in the Puget Sound from the perspective of a carrier and a large employer. After leading pharmacy benefit strategy at Amazon for 2 years, Mark was literally chosen from the company directory by a product manager to help write the paper to recommend Amazon build a home delivery pharmacy. Currently, Mark is working with large employers and small to medium sized PBM’s to rethink how pharmacy benefits can be delivered in a way that benefits payers and customers.
